Easy Prep Gradients from Analytical Runs

Webinar: Development of preparative chromatography methods

High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) at preparative scale is significantly different in several important ways than analytical HPLC. Developing effective methods for preparative LC can be difficult and time consuming when using a traditional trial-and-error approach. Much of this trouble can be avoided through techniques developed by Teledyne ISCO by which an accurate preparative focused gradient is able to be calculated directly from the results of a single analytical scouting run.

In this intermediate to advanced webinar, Jack Silver, Application Chemist at Teledyne ISCO, outlines best practices for preparative LC while presenting tools and techniques that will greatly reduce method development time while improving compound purity and yield.

Learn in the webinar:

  • How to create and calibrate a scouting gradient run on an analytical HPLC system
  • Common calibration errors
  • How to determine if there may be chromatographic issues upon scale-up
  • How to create a preparative scale focused gradient from an analytical scouting run
  • Troubleshooting common method development problems

From this 45-minute presentation plus interactive Q&A session, attendees will learn a variety of proven techniques for developing preparative chromatography methods, and best practices for focused gradient methods to purify target compounds quickly and more efficiently.

The webinar will take place on 21 April 2021 at 2:00 PM CET in English with Teledyne ISCO. Please book directly with Teledyne ISCO using the following link:
